Bein...It is surprising she did not succumb herself.
Being such a small town we do know the history of many of the people buried there. We walk through and I recognize many of the names as people who helped settle Trenton.
Watching "Little House on the Prairie" when I was growing up I was always fascinated by how they lived. Caroline Ingalls had one small table to do all her food preparation and in the beginning cooked over an open fire. Makes me feel very spoiled!
I quickly took three photos of Butterscotch and Chippie before they scattered. I do love to watch them.
Have a great weekend!Cat Loverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09504271572051737490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9113656230511810359.post-71632792439778900352015-06-19T14:19:21.228-04:002015-06-19T14:19:21.228-04:00It's a wonder the poor woman didn't die in...It's a wonder the poor woman didn't die in childbirth.

When I wander through the nearby cemetery here, I see so many old, old gravestones, most time-worn, and I always wonder at their lives. We have our own difficulties now, that hasn't changed, nor has human nature changed, but I imagine life in the 1700 and 1800s would have been very, very difficult, particularly for most women, in so many ways.

Anyway Butterscotch and Chippie are adorable, I love the pics you get of them. Maybe they contributed to the critter prints in the sidewalks! :-)Fuzzy Taleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09505853082591216696noreply@blogger.com
