Visiting Cats

Good morning. I hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend (if you are Canadian it was a holiday on Monday). My weekend was very busy with gardening and other yard work.

The cabinets are being installed at this moment. Throughout this whole experience every worker has shown up at least 1/2 hour early! This morning I had just stepped out of the shower and the doorbell rang. EKKKK!

The two cats pictured above belong to our neighbours. The black cat is Oreo who is 15 years old and the white cat is Toby who is 4 years old. Both very friendly and loving.

It was warmer for our walk this morning. With the higher humidity the aroma from the flowering trees was very strong.  I noticed some of the trees are already done flowering.  Short but sweet!

I hope you enjoy your day .

  1. Good luck with the cabinets! I'm super-impressed with your workers, showing up early. Hope all goes well today.

Are the ducks perched on a beaver home?

P.S. I see that your neighbours have the good sense to leash one of the cats.

    1. The guys are here right now working away. They assure me it will be done tonight. I am not sure if the ducks are standing on a beaver house or muskrat. I am not sure how muskrats live. Our neighbours leash the younger cat as the older one just hangs around our two houses.
      Have a great day Kim.

    1. Most of the work is now done. Just the countertop, which they are coming to measure tomorrow.

    1. We are not quite sure what that is they are sitting on. We have seen muskrats in that area so possibly one of their homes.
