We didn't start the fire.

Tremendous cleaning went on here yesterday. Our other car was covered in soot so the first thing done yesterday was car washing. It took Chuck a couple of hours to wash it as so many people stopped by to see how he was. Incredible neighbourhood we live in. The Passing Motorist stopped by (I still didn't get his name!) because he was concerned Chuck was having difficulty breathing (asthma). Chuck has been coughing on and off (more off) since but he is o.k. He has a puffer which helps tremendously. It is so humid here now and that set off his asthma too.
Today's post is just some critter photos I have taken over the last few days.
Have a great day!
Robin

Did anyone see the Moon last week? I think I took this last Friday night.

Just before the car caught fire Chuck had been over visiting a friend. They have a small farm. A box full of fresh organic potatoes came home with Chuck. Kim, do you like potatoes?

  1. I'm sure I can't even imagine the clean-up necessary. Good luck with all the insurance red tape, as well as any other details that need to be attended to.

Love all the critter pics, especially the rabbit. It's such a treat for me to see one, though a few years ago I'd see some along Avenue Road regularly, in the early hours.

Um...I like an occasional potato, but seldom eat them. That's a lot of potatoes. LOL.

    Take care.

    1. Both insurance companies (we have a different one for the car because of it's age) have contacted us this morning, so it is starting.
We seem to have rabbits in the yard in waves. We will have them everyday for a week, then not see any for two weeks. This one stayed for awhile, got scared when the squirrels started a rumble and went and hid in the hedge until it was all done.
So no potatoes then? Last year he also gave us an equal size box of carrots. We were eating them at every meal! But I will never say no to fresh organic food.
      Talk soon.

  2. P.S. Friday was the full moon, I swear that things (and people) get crazier during that time.

    1. It was pretty quiet here Friday night, though last night someone down the street was having a pool party and we could hear the whopping. We were so pooped we were asleep by 9:30.

  4. I wonder if your rabbit is a hare? He (she) looks quite big for an ordinary bunny.

Hope the humidity eases up soon so your husband can breathe with less difficulty.

    1. It could very well be a hare. Some of them around here are very large.
Chuck breathing is slowly getting better. He used his puffer again yesterday and sounds better today.

    1. Thanks! We have the air-conditioning on in the house now and that really helps Chuck's breathing.
      Take care.
