Almost there!

   Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts over the last two weeks. It is taking longer to get everything unpacked and put away than I imagined. Every other move we have had the moving company do everything for us as it was paid for by the Military. As the move was on us this time we only had our very large furniture moved to our new house and we did everything else.

We are loving our new house and our new community. I will write a post shortly.

    I've been thinking about you. Glad you are almost settled and like your new community.
    We've done both and we prefer moving on our own.

      Hi Karen, thanks for stopping by. We are slowly getting everything in place. We rented a truck for two days. The only thing I would change would be a longer truck rental. We have a VERY small car so we did sometimes three trips a day with it!

      Hi Maria! The hard part is over. This house is set up very differently than our last house so it is just a matter of finding new spots for our stuff. I look forward to sharing our new community with everyone.

      Hi G.M, thanks for being so patient! We had so much going on at once. Cleaning out our old house, setting up the new one and starting some small reno's here too. I have started on the gardens but need to spend a couple days clearing out. I brought a few plants from our old house and have got them in the ground here. I will be visiting the local nursery's to check out the end of season sales.
