Wash Day

Another beautiful sunny day with no clouds in sight.

The tile guys are downstairs doing the last of the cleanup. Tomorrow all the doors leading into the kitchen have to be shaved down a bit due to the floors being a bit higher. Rob and John brought all our appliances back in and even hooked up my washer so I could do wash right away. What wonderful men they are. I have two loads out on the lines now. First wash I have done in 5 days.

The photo above is our neighbour's tree. We have a number of them in the neighbourhood. The aroma is heavenly! Sadly we do not have any in our yard but we can enjoy everyone else's.

Just had to do a quick shop at Walmart this morning. I took a look in their Garden Centre and was pleasantly surprised. They have quite a good selection of flowers, shrubs, vegetables, etc... Chuck and I are looking for a few more shrubs and hosta's. On our morning walk we pick up a rock or two from the construction site down the road to put in our garden. We have very rocky soil here so when they dig the foundations for the new subdivision up come all these rocks. I see a number of our neighbours have done the same thing!

The picture below is our resident Robin. She is in the birch tree right outside our bedroom window. She has finally gotten accustomed to us and does not fly off when we stand below her. We are looking forward to when the eggs hatch. We think there are 3 of them. I hope everyone enjoys their day and it is as beautiful where you are as it is here. Take care.

    1. Yes Gill I thought of you as we were "stealing" the rocks! Half of the neighbourhood would have to be charged along with us. Have a great night!

  3. The blossoms are wonderful I laughed at this, because I made a point of leaving a bit early this AM so I could snap pics of the blossoms in our area too! :-)

Great minds think alike (and fools never differ -- that's the rest of the expression.)

Hurrah for your washer being hooked up again!

    Take care.
