My favourite Garden Centre

I love going to our local nursery for a look around. Yesterday seemed the perfect day to go. As you leave the parking lot and walk toward the greenhouses you come upon the outdoor Koi pond. It is lovely!
The waterfall is beautiful, surrounded by many mature plantings. I believe the pond has been there for 20+ years.
These fish are in the inside Koi pond. Very gregarious. I put my hand in the water and got lots of fishy kisses!
I love this screen! I have the perfect wall for this facing my back deck. Just saying....
This is Winston. He has been the store mascot for a number of years. He is very friendly and loves to chat and whistle.
The store has a whole section of items for Fairy Gardens. My friend down the street has a beautiful Fairy Garden in her backyard which I hope to get a photo of soon. I forgot my camera the day I visited her!
A blurry picture of the Albino Squirrel. I have to take them thru a window so they are never very good quality but I could not resist.

A nice day here today but we are supposed to get some more rain. I expect mushrooms to start coming up in the lawn soon! Have a great day.

  1. You have a lovely garden centre! I don't think we have anything so nice here, not in the areas I get to via bus, anyway. When we first moved here, we had White Rose, which was an awesome garden store, but it went out of business not too many years after that. There's been nothing comparable since.

Enjoy your Sunday....maybe you need to return to buy that sweet screen! :-)

We really are blessed to have this beautiful garden centre ten minutes away.
That lovely screen is calling my name!
We are just off to Warkworth to check out an antique radio Chuck saw on Kijiji.
      Enjoy your Sunday Kim.

    1. I would love to have a fairy garden but I'm not terribly crafty so it would come out looking weird I'm sure. Thanks for dropping by!
