This and that

As close as you want to get to a squirrel!
Our kitchen designer Carol phoned a few days ago and asked if we would mind having a photographer come and take pictures of the new kitchen. Sure, why not? So this morning Carol and Sarah came by. Sarah took photos for about 20 minutes as Carol, Chuck and I talked. We had pretty well cleared everything off the counters but I had a big bowl of peaches (first ones from Niagara!) and a big bowl of bananas. I told Sarah to remove anything she didn't like but she kept everything on the counters so I guess it looked alright. Carol is giving us a set of the photos so I will post some here.

Just some random photos taken over the last week.

We don't have any plans this holiday weekend. Just enjoying the cooler weather.
Take care and have a great weekend!

  1. Will your kitchen be featured in Style at Home? :-)

I love that you're able to get out so much and take so many pics! Enjoy the long weekend...and the break in the humidity. I'm really looking forward to Tuesday, with a forecast high of 23 no humidex at all. Woohoo!

    1. I some how doubt it!
I take my little point and shoot camera with me everywhere I go. You just never know when something photo-worthy will come up!
After so many days with the airconditioning on we have all the windows wide open today. I have to get use to hearing all the outside noise again. But it is so lovely to have all the fresh, cool air coming in.
Take care and enjoy your weekend!

    1. Growing up a friend of mine was bitten by a squirrel so I generally leave a bit of distance between us.
