I Taut I Saw a Puddy Tat.

Or two! Our neighbours have gone away and we were asked to take  care of their kitties. Oh course we agreed as we do love them. Oreo (above) does not care for her photo to be taken so most of hers are blurry. Toby is such a ham he willingly has his photo taken.
As soon as I sat down on the couch he came right up for a snuggle.
Oreo wandered around and then finally settled at Chuck's feet.
Oreo is 15 and still in very good shape, just a little stiff. She loves to give kisses and purrs the whole time.
Lapping up all the attention from Chuck.
Toby on the other hand wanted to play. He spotted the string on my hoodie and started playing with it.
He is just 5 years old and full of beans. Normally the two of them do go outside, Toby on a lead and Oreo runs free. I do not feel comfortable doing that and stated that to our neighbours so the kitties are NOT going outside. The yards are not fenced so knowing my luck the cats would disappear!
Oreo crunching up a leaf that blew in when we came in the door. It's lovely to have cats to look after again after a year without Sam. These two are very sweet and sociable and we are enjoying taking care of them.
Lots of activity at the feeders in this cooler weather. The Goldfinches are losing their yellow colouring quickly now.
This Bluejay was determined to get some sunflower seed out of this feeder and he finally figured out how.
 Hang upside down!
He flew back and forth from the feeder to the branch eating.
The Chickadee had the same idea. I must go out today and get another bag of sunflower seeds. Between the squirrels and birds they empty that feeder almost every day!

Some of you may recognize the title of this post. It is a song from Looney Tunes sung by Tweety and Sylvester. Here is the link.here. Hopefully it works! Thanks for the help Karen!
Have a great day.

  2. I always wanted Sylvester to eat Tweety Bird... That bird was so annoying. Lol.

Will I get to meet Oreo and Toby? I have cat toys, new, I could bring for them. :-)

    1. Yes Kim, you will meet Oreo and Toby. I usually go over mid-afternoon and sit with them for a bit so you could come with me.
Hope you are having a good day down in the County.

  3. Smart blue jay! It pays to be innovative when seeking your favorite food.

The cats sound very sweet. You clearly enjoy petsitting them.

  5. There are several much loved cats in our neighbourhood that roam free and I worry that they'll get run over. So far they are fine and I sure hope that keeps up. Oreo is cute but Toby is adorable.

  6. Nice of you to take care of your neighbors cats. They must feel good about leaving their cats with someone who loves them. : )
I'd keep them both inside with me too.

    1. The cats mom did say she knew we would spoil them and she was right! It is a labour of love though as I very much enjoy taking care of cats.
      Take care!
