Wednesday night was one of two nights of the Beaver Moon. The name Beaver Moon originates from the need for hunters to set traps for Beavers before waters freeze over. An alternative interpretation is that the name comes from the Beavers' frenzied activity prior to winter. Either meaning it was a great night Wednesday to take some photos!
This past week we have had our garage gutted prior to insulating and drywalling. The insulation is now done and Chuck wanted to have the wiring for the garage door openers underneath the drywall. This involved some climbing in the rafters.
Now you know why Chuck's nickname at work in "Chuckmunk!" He loves climbing up high. Yes, this man is 55 years old!
Very foggy the other morning. The trees were dripping with condensation. Squeaky and friend popped by for some breakfast.
Wednesday was lovely and sunny so lots of visitors at the feeders.
One of the baby squirrels nabbed a peanut and sat up in one of the maple trees squawking for awhile. He never let go of his peanut!
I wanted to share one more photo with you of Elizabeth on her wedding day 7 years ago. Absolutely beautiful! The celebration of her life is today.
